Washing machines
measures for vibration insulation of washing machines.
Anyone who has the washing machine directly in the apartment (kitchen, bathroom, utility room or storage room) will know the problem: The washing machine vibrates a lot during washing and especially in the spin cycle, causing a considerable noise level. It is particularly bad in apartments and houses where the floors are based on a layer of wooden beams. These floors ensure that the vibrations are distributed throughout the entire living space and even into neighbouring apartments. These noises are very annoying and it often happens that the washing machines move during the washing process and gradually move away from their place of installation. This is especially the case with machines that stand on tiled floors. These are very slippery and offer the machine an optimal surface to "wander" on.
This is where vibration dampers help:
The solution to this problem are washing machines vibration dampers. These vibration dampers are available in two different versions:
-As complete underlay mat?
-and in the form of four rubberized washers for the feet of the washing machine.
We recommend the version with four washers as this gives the best results in terms of noise reduction and stability.
Our tip: Four washing machine dampers from AEG Electrolux
These four vibration dampers are placed under the individual feet of the machine and ensure that the machine is more stable and cannot "wander" further through the room. Even during intensive spinning operations with a full machine load, the machine remains stationary. The vibrations from the floor are also optimally contained, so that the machine runs much more quietly. For the washing machines, these vibration dampers are an additional measure that increases the service life, as the vibrations within the machine caused by the drum are also absorbed.?
The alternative to the underlay dampers is the complete damping mat. This mat is placed completely under the machine and thereby provides a firmer stand than without the mat. The disadvantage of these mats, however, is that here the washing machines continue to move easily and in the worst case (for example, if there is a slight imbalance in the load) the appliances can slip off the rubber mat and suffer damage. For many people, these mats are also visually unpopular, as they are always visible and black. This type of damping is problematic if the machine loses water (e.g. when cleaning the lint filter) and this then runs under the mat. Cleaning is then only possible with difficulty and at great expense.
We clearly recommend the first variant with the four base bases. This is the best way to secure the machine's stand and additionally the floor under the machine can be cleaned and dried. This is also visually the more attractive solution to prevent vibrations and oscillations during washing.
