LASTO® - pipe padding to prevent structure-borne sound bridges
The LASTO®ISOPIPE system is used wherever structure-borne sound bridges have to be prevented in the area of pipe penetrations. The pipe cushions are very easy to install and provide additional protection, as no cement mortar can penetrate between the bearing and the pipe. With the "extra long" pipe pads, the transmission of structure-borne noise over the critical height of the pipes is also prevented. The selected materials correspond to the latest state of the art and increase installation safety on the construction site. It is not recommended to install the LASTO®ISOPIPE pipe pads after bricklaying. Otherwise, the connection to the wall bearing cannot be carried out cleanly. Note: If there are several pipes, the space between them and the pipes must be sealed with mineral wool to prevent mortar penetration. Principle: With the installation of the LASTO®ISOPIPE bridging system, sound bridges at pipe penetrations are largely prevented. The LASTO®ISOPIPE system is simply slipped over the conduit pipes after the installation of an acoustic bearing. The large foot plate made of solid rubber covers the cut-out pipe penetrations in the acoustic bearing. The concrete tape is used - where necessary - to seal the overlaps to the acoustic bearing and the pipe pad is fixed tightly to the pipe with the cable tie supplied. The LASTO®ISOPIPE pipe pads can be used for all wall bearing types such as cork, solid rubber and rubber granulate bearings. Important: The use of this product is intended to avoid structure-borne sound bridges. If you have any questions, please call us, we will be happy to help you.
