Noise control/soundproofing for rail vehicles | Armaflex NH halogen-free insulating material

Armaflex NH is a foam material based on synthetic rubber. It is halogen-free and ideal for increased safety requirements in the event of fire. If a fire breaks out in a rail vehicle, low levels of smoke and acid-forming gases are produced in order to minimize the toxicity levels and corrosive damage to people and equipment. The dust- and fiber-free material is a poor heat conductor. During the construction of rail vehicles, the material is primarily used as insulation material for ventilation ducts and in pipes (incl. pipe bends, connectors, flanges) in refrigeration and air conditioning systems.
