Noise control/soundproofing for rail vehicles | Silphon®pyramid-shaped FR (underbody area)

The low density, flame-retardant Silphon®pyramid-shaped FR foam is very well suited for thermal insulation in rail vehicle floors. The profiling allows for rear ventilation, thus resulting in faster drying of condensed water. With its low density of 15 kg/m³, it allows for lower total vehicle weight thus optimizing its energy efficiency. The closed-cell structure makes the material impermeable to moisture.
