Silphon®PET optimizes room acoustics and at the same time creates a better feeling of space. The Silphon®PET acoustic elements can be individually designed in shape and colour and the processing takes place on the most modern CNC cutting machines "swiss made" at our premises in Aadorf. A classification system for the fire behaviour of building materials on a European level is used as an evaluation standard for the fire behaviour of building materials. This system was published with the standards series DIN EN 13501 Classification of Building Products and Types of Construction with regard to their fire behaviour at the beginning of 2010. It defines uniform requirements for fire protection throughout Europe, divided into building material classes (Euroclasses) A to F: A: no contribution to fire (A1, A2) B: very limited contribution to the fire C: limited contribution to the fire D: Acceptable contribution to the fire E: acceptable reaction to fire F: no power detected Further subdivisions classify secondary fire phenomena such as the development of smoke (s = smoke) as well as the burning droplets (d = droplets) of building materials: s1: low smoke development s2: average smoke development s3: high smoke development or smoke development not tested d0: no burning drip/fall off within 600 seconds d1: no burning drip/fall off with an afterburning time of more than 10 seconds within 600 seconds d2: no power detected
