Closed-cell damping material made from synthetic rubber. Suitable application fields include thermal insulation of pipelines, heat exchangers and air ducts in building construction as well as rail vehicle and watercraft construction. Armaflex® Rail SD meets the requirements that are stipulated for environmentally friendly insulating material, including low smoke emission and minimal toxic emissions the event of fire.
