The compression set (DVR) is a measure of how elastomers behave during long-term, constant compression deformation and subsequent relaxation.
A DVR of 0% would mean that the rubber has fully regained its original thickness, a DVR of 100% indicates that the rubber was completely deformed during the test and shows no recovery.
